Role Purpose:
The primary objective of the Commercial Lines Inside Sales Executive is to enhance the agency's commercial insurance portfolio by effectively managing the sales process. This involves engaging with incoming leads, addressing lost business opportunities, and pursuing unsold quotes. The role requires active participation in networking events and establishing strong relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by securing new business policies on a quarterly basis.
- Conduct weekly outreach to lost business and unsold quotes.
- Engage with monoline accounts for potential cross-selling opportunities.
- Market all accounts and present tailored proposals.
- Align sales efforts with the agency's strategic goals.
- Develop strong client relationships through attentive listening and understanding of their needs.
- Identify personal training needs and create a plan for ongoing professional development.
Sales Process Management:
- Maintain a closing ratio exceeding 70% by promptly responding to new inquiries.
- Follow up diligently on new web leads and ensure all outreach is completed weekly.
- Utilize a systematic approach to follow up with prospects through calls and emails.
- Document all interactions in the agency management system for transparency and accountability.
Retention and Relationship Building:
- Enhance client retention rates by following up with new business clients post-sale.
- Encourage referrals through exceptional service and relationship management.
Collaboration with Marketing:
- Support marketing initiatives by providing necessary materials for campaigns.
- Contribute ideas for content that can enhance the agency's visibility.
Operational Excellence:
- Utilize the agency's management system effectively to track prospects and client interactions.
- Respond to inquiries from account managers in a timely manner.
