Role Objective:

The primary aim of the Commercial Lines Inside Sales Executive is to enhance the commercial portfolio by optimizing the insurance sales process and implementing effective strategies on a daily basis. This role involves engaging with all incoming new business inquiries, following up on lost business, addressing unsold quotes, and exploring monoline accounts for potential account expansion. As a representative of our agency, this position plays a crucial role in fostering community relationships and engaging with prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve sales targets by securing new business policies consistently.
  • Conduct weekly outreach to lost business accounts.
  • Follow up on unsold quotes approaching renewal each week.
  • Engage with monoline accounts for reviews and potential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Market all accounts effectively and present comprehensive proposals.
  • Align business placements with agency objectives.
  • Listen actively to clients to understand their needs and build lasting relationships.
  • Identify personal training needs with managerial support and create a plan for continuous improvement in technical and sales skills.

  1. Adhere to the new business sales process, maintaining a closing ratio exceeding 70%.
  • Respond to new inquiries promptly.
  • Make multiple follow-up calls on new web leads.
  • Complete all required outbound calls weekly.
  • Utilize a structured follow-up approach for potential clients.
  • Provide marketing with new business cards for inclusion in communications.
  • Engage in follow-up calls after presenting pricing.
  • Solicit referrals from satisfied clients.
  • Emphasize policy features over pricing in sales discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.

  1. Enhance client retention with a target of 90%.
  • Conduct account reviews for all new business.
  • Follow up with clients post-sale and at renewal.
  • Encourage referrals from existing clients.

  1. Support marketing initiatives in various capacities.
  • Provide business cards for marketing campaigns.
  • Propose topics for blogs and social media.
  • Participate in agency branding activities.

Availability:

Be responsive to prospects and clients, ensuring timely communication.

System Management:

  • Utilize the management system as directed.
  • Document all new prospects and update notes promptly.
  • Respond to inquiries from account managers within 24 hours.
