Position Overview:

The New Home Consultant plays a vital role in managing and facilitating the home purchasing journey, ensuring that our clients feel 'tickled, delighted, and happy' throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively sell, process, and finalize home purchases in alignment with company objectives, aiming for complete customer satisfaction.
  • Complete the required training programs within the first month of employment to ensure a solid foundation for success.
  • Engage actively in community outreach and promotional events to enhance visibility and sales opportunities.
  • Utilize all available resources and tools to assist customers in navigating through our Welcome Home Centers and available properties.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from initial inquiry through to post-closing follow-up, documenting all interactions.
  • Proactively travel within the local area to generate leads through networking with real estate professionals and referrals.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local market, including competitor offerings and community demographics.
  • Track customer traffic and sales data using designated company tools, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations and assist clients with their selections during the building process.
  • Contribute to neighborhood marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure the upkeep of the Welcome Home Center and model homes.
  • Attend regular sales meetings to strategize and review performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of documentation to ensure timely closings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the homebuilding sector.
  • High school diploma or GED is required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • A valid real estate license is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Understanding of real estate regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction, mortgage, and escrow processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary.
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude, self-motivation, and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain the Welcome Home Center during operational hours.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and work collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves a combination of office work and active engagement in the community, requiring a valid driver's license for transportation purposes. Candidates should be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
