Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of the New Home Consultant is to facilitate and manage the home purchasing process, ensuring a seamless experience that leaves customers feeling delighted and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively sell, process, and finalize home transactions in alignment with company objectives, aiming to create satisfied customers.
  • Complete the required training program within the first month of employment.
  • Engage in community outreach through phone banks and local events.
  • Utilize company resources to assist home buyers and realtors, guiding them through model homes and available properties.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from initial inquiry through to post-closing follow-up.
  • Proactively generate sales through networking with realtors, referrals, and self-initiated prospecting.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the local market, including competitive offerings and community demographics.
  • Track and report daily customer interactions using designated tools.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations and assist with builder option selections.
  • Contribute to neighborhood marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the upkeep of the Welcome Home Center and models in collaboration with the field team.
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss neighborhood performance and strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation to ensure timely escrow closures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the homebuilding sector.
  • High school diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Possession of a valid real estate license is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Understanding of real estate laws is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction, mortgage, finance, and escrow processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and the ability to achieve goals independently.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and receptiveness to feedback.

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily active, involving office work and site visits in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required for transportation to customer locations and meetings. Candidates should be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
