Position Overview:

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a vital role in transforming the financial lives of individuals by providing innovative digital solutions for personal finance. This position involves gaining expertise in mortgage-specific systems and preparing to reactivate your NMLS licenses. Upon completion, you will receive leads and utilize your consultative sales abilities, combined with your newly acquired mortgage knowledge, to facilitate residential HELOCs. Over time, you will also become familiar with future products and expand your offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyze the financial status, credit history, and property details of applicants to determine mortgage eligibility.
  • Guide and educate clients on various mortgage products and the application procedures.
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications, ensuring the collection of all necessary information for mortgage approval.
  • Effectively navigate the mortgage sales environment, utilizing the Loan Origination System, CRM, credit vendor systems, and other essential software throughout the mortgage process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects, loan applicants, and third-party vendors, ensuring ongoing follow-up throughout the mortgage journey.
  • Qualify for multiple state mortgage licenses within the initial 45 days and develop knowledge in traditional mortgage products (conventional, government, or Non-QM).

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current resident of Arizona.
  • Active NMLS license (or ability to reactivate).
  • Successful completion of the SAFE exam.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage lending.
  • Eligible to fulfill state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including necessary pre-license education, testing, and background checks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic, entrepreneurial team environment.

Compensation: The total compensation ranges from $130,000 to $200,000+ annually, including bonuses and benefits. This figure represents the expected earnings for this role, combining base pay with uncapped commissions.
