Position Overview:

The New Home Consultant plays a vital role in managing and facilitating the home buying journey, ensuring a seamless process from initial inquiry to closing. Our goal is to create 'tickled, delighted, and happy' customers who feel valued and supported throughout their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively sell, process, and finalize home purchases in alignment with company objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Actively participate in community events and outreach initiatives to promote our homes and services.
  • Utilize provided tools and resources to assist customers in navigating the home buying process, including tours of model homes and available properties.

  • Engage with local real estate professionals and generate leads through networking and self-prospecting efforts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local market, including competitor offerings and community demographics.
  • Track and report customer traffic and sales activities using designated company systems.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations and assist clients with their selections and options.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts and promotional activities within the neighborhood.
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure the maintenance and presentation of the Welcome Home Center and model homes.
  • Attend regular sales meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Ensure all paperwork is processed accurately and timely to facilitate smooth closings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the homebuilding or real estate industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Valid real estate license is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with real estate regulations and practices is essential.
  • Knowledge of construction, financing, and escrow processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to meet sales goals independently.
  • Availability to maintain the Welcome Home Center during scheduled hours.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
  • Problem-solving skills and a commitment to professional development in sales techniques.
  • Proficiency in computer use and social media engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
  • A solid work ethic and receptiveness to feedback.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves active engagement, including office work and site visits in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license is necessary for transporting clients and attending meetings. Candidates should be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

The standard base compensation for this position is estimated to be $29,848 annually, with potential for additional incentives based on performance.
