Key Responsibilities- Preparing internal purchase requisitions for goods and services
- Ensuring timely management of purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate financial records to meet fiscal year obligations
- Managing and overseeing the college credit hours for all New Mexico State Police (NMSP) recruits and officers
- Ensuring that educational records are accurately tracked and reported
- Overseeing the Tribal Commission Program, managing the intake and processing of commission requests, maintaining compliance with department policies, and proposing program improvements
- Overseeing the VA benefits for recruits, managing the NMSP Longevity and NMLERF programs, and maintaining records related to recruit attrition rates
- Conducting data analysis, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with academy staff to develop strategies aimed at reducing recruit attrition
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to visual/video display terminal (VDT) and extensive computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Employment Requirements- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's Licenses, a current Defensive Driving Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of employment
