Administrative Operations Manager II Position

Job Summary
The State of New Mexico is seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Manager II to oversee the comprehensive oversight of CMS federal reports, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in accounting and budgeting, as well as experience supervising staff and managing problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reconciliations of federal reports and monitor federal draws, federal revenue, and federal receivables to optimize financial management and compliance.
- Prepare detailed monthly and year-end audit schedules, which include receivable accruals, federal accruals, and federal roll-forward schedules.
- Collaborate with the Medicaid division staff to maintain financial controls and fiscal compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university.
- Eight (8) years of professional level experience with a light strategic impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment.
- Experience in accounting and budgeting, supervising staff, and managing problem-solving abilities.
