Job Summary:

The Administrative Operations Manager II will oversee the comprehensive oversight of CMS federal reports, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. This role will also conduct reconciliations of federal reports and monitor federal draws, federal revenue, and federal receivables to optimize financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive oversight of CMS federal reports, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Conduct reconciliations of federal reports and monitor federal draws, federal revenue, and federal receivables to optimize financial management and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed monthly and year-end audit schedules, which include receivable accruals, federal accruals, and federal roll-forward schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Medicaid division staff to maintain financial controls and fiscal compliance.
  • Supervise employee/staff ensuring work performed by employee/staff is completed accurately and timely.
  • Communicate effectively and train/mentor staff to ensure growth and depth (cross training) in bureau.

Requirements:

  • Experience supervising staff.
  • Managing and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer knowledge/experience in Excel, SHARE Financial, and HCM.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience overseeing grant reporting and/or accounting.
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing federal reconciliations and reports.
  • Experience managing and training staff.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of professional level experience with a light strategic impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
