Job Summary

The Administrative Operations Manager II / Hunger Initiative Coordinator will lead a number of initiatives designed to alleviate poverty and lead the Rural Healthcare Delivery Fund and new projects assigned to the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop two strategic plans corresponding to each initiative in collaboration with state agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, conduct research, draft policy recommendations, and engage stakeholders.
  • Lead the Rural Healthcare Delivery Fund and new projects assigned to the department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • Eight (8) years of professional-level experience with a light strategic impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, project management principles, and ability to meet strict deadlines, change priorities, work independently, make informed decisions, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of New Mexico State Statutes and New Mexico Medicaid.
  • Experience overseeing technical implementations, managing a large program or project, and interacting with federal and state agencies.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
