Human Resources Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Administrator to join our team at the New Mexico Law Offices of the Public Defender. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and management team.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and hiring: Assist in the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
- Benefits administration: Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Employee relations: Provide support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and employee relations.
- Compensation and classification: Assist in the classification and compensation of employees, including salary administration and benefits.
- Policy and procedure implementation: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in human resource operations, recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
