Pricing Strategy Lead

We are a thriving Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brand seeking a skilled Pricing Strategy Lead to enhance our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
This is a full-time role located in a vibrant urban setting. As a vital member of our Manufacturing department, you will take charge of developing and executing pricing strategies, managing trade promotions, and fostering sales growth.
Your Role:
In this position, you will leverage your analytical expertise and industry insights to maintain our competitive edge and profitability. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, enjoy tackling challenges, and possess a solid background in pricing and trade management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and implement impactful trade and pricing strategies that align with our corporate goals.
2. Collaborate with the sales team to enhance trade promotions and evaluate their effects on sales and profitability.
3. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics D365 to oversee and analyze pricing data, trade expenditures, and other essential performance metrics.
4. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitor pricing tactics, and customer preferences.
5. Establish and maintain a robust pricing model to ensure our products are competitively positioned in the marketplace.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams to devise strategies for new product introductions and promotional activities.
7. Monitor and refine pricing strategies in response to market fluctuations, cost changes, and other external influences.
8. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market observations.
9. Ensure adherence to all company policies and regulatory standards concerning pricing and trade promotions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in pricing and trade management, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
3. Proficiency in Dynamics D365 and a strong understanding of the CPG industry is essential.
4. Demonstrated experience in sales and developing effective pricing strategies.
5. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
7. Solid understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
