Role ResponsibilitiesThe Menu Strategy & Pricing Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our menu assortment across a vast network of Fridges and retail locations. Your primary objective will be to enhance revenue, profit margins, and pricing strategies by ensuring optimal product placement and pricing. You will utilize data-driven insights and collaborate closely with management to foster growth through effective menu management and pricing tactics.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer & Fridge Insights: Analyze purchasing behaviors, including frequency and spending patterns, to inform assortment and pricing strategies.
- Evaluate product performance across various Fridge segments to manage assortment and pricing effectively.
- Segment performance based on demographic data to tailor offerings and pricing strategies.
- Establish pricing frameworks and customized menus to maximize customer engagement and profitability.
- Collaborate with data science teams to refine assortment and pricing through advanced analytics.
- Assess product performance across different lifecycle stages to guide assortment and pricing decisions.
- Work with R&D teams to create a roadmap for product development and pricing strategies.
- Analyze transaction data to identify cross-selling opportunities and enhance average transaction values.
- Design and implement promotional strategies and dynamic pricing to boost year-over-year performance.
- Develop merchandising strategies and launch plans for new product categories.
- Partner with finance and channel management teams to create performance metrics and evaluate pricing impacts.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop tools that streamline revenue strategies.
- Engage with analytics teams to design queries that support comprehensive performance analysis.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in strategy or analytics within consumer goods or retail sectors.
- Proficient in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R is advantageous.
- Familiarity with machine learning applications in pricing and analytics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
