Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pricing Strategy Manager at K2 Services is responsible for leading the pricing and deal structuring efforts to enhance profitability and ensure client satisfaction. This role is pivotal in aligning pricing methodologies with the strategic goals of the organization and the requirements of clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pricing Development and Deal Structuring:

  • Formulate and execute pricing strategies that are in harmony with corporate objectives and prevailing market dynamics.
  • Work closely with sales teams to design deals that maximize profitability while fulfilling client needs.
  • Perform competitive assessments to guide pricing choices and sustain market competitiveness.

Sales Enablement and Expertise:

  • Act as a pricing and deal structuring authority for the sales organization.
  • Advise sales teams on pricing negotiations and deal conditions to enhance revenue generation.
  • Evaluate and endorse pricing proposals, ensuring precision and compliance with company regulations.

Collaboration Across Functions:

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations departments to ensure cohesive pricing strategies and deal validations.
  • Facilitate communication between sales and other divisions to optimize deal execution workflows.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track deal performance and profitability indicators, offering insights and suggestions for enhancements.
  • Compile and present regular updates on deal desk operations, emphasizing critical metrics and trends to upper management.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and refine deal desk processes to boost efficiency and scalability.
  • Adopt best practices for deal structuring, pricing approvals, and contract management.

Client Interaction and Satisfaction:

  • Engage with sales and client services teams to ensure that deal structures promote long-term client success and satisfaction.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns regarding pricing and deal conditions, nurturing positive client relationships.

Market Awareness and Strategic Input:

  • Remain updated on market trends, competitive environments, and industry best practices related to pricing and deal structuring.
  • Contribute to strategic conversations regarding product pricing, packaging, and market entry strategies.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing strategies and deal structuring.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving results.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, deal desk management, or related fields within the technology or services sector.

EDUCATION:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline.

PREFERRED:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).

CREDENTIALS:

  • Proven success in developing and executing pricing strategies.
  • Track record of effectively managing cross-functional projects and initiatives.
