Position Details

We are in search of a proactive and strategic Pricing Strategy Lead to join our innovative team. This is a permanent role within our Manufacturing division, where you will take charge of developing and executing pricing initiatives, managing trade promotions, and fostering sales growth.

As a vital contributor to our organization, you will leverage your analytical expertise and industry insights to maintain our competitive edge and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute impactful pricing and trade strategies that align with our corporate goals.
  • Partner with the sales team to enhance trade promotions and evaluate their effects on revenue and profitability.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics D365 to oversee and analyze pricing data, trade expenditures, and essential performance metrics.
  • Conduct market analysis to grasp industry trends, competitor pricing approaches, and consumer preferences.
  • Establish and uphold a comprehensive pricing model to ensure our offerings are competitively positioned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise strategies for new product introductions and promotional campaigns.
  • Adjust pricing strategies in response to market fluctuations, cost changes, and other external influences.
  • Provide insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data evaluations and market observations.
  • Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and regulatory standards concerning pricing and trade promotions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing and trade management, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Expertise in Dynamics D365 and familiarity with CPG is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and pricing strategy development.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a knack for influencing and negotiating effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of market dynamics and sound business acumen.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of thriving under pressure in a dynamic environment.
