Job Overview

This pivotal role collaborates closely with Sales Representatives and Managers across the Sales, Service, and Logistics divisions to formulate and implement pricing strategies aimed at enhancing sales and profitability. The position also involves nurturing key account relationships and providing comprehensive support across all product categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure precise and thorough price quotations for all product lines while overseeing margin reporting to maintain pricing accuracy and minimize cancellations and rebills to below 0.5%.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and Regional Supply Manager to align strategic objectives across sales and supply chains.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic pricing initiatives for key suppliers and oversee their execution to meet defined goals.
  • Work closely with logistics and service teams to implement new logistical programs and evaluate the success of specific initiatives in targeted regions.
  • Assist the Supply and Data Management teams in validating Quote Tool programs to expedite the launch of new offerings.
  • Coordinate and finalize Pricing Team Up activities, ensuring timely execution of strategic pricing plans to achieve established objectives.
  • Review commission reports and address discrepancies to ensure prompt completion of commission evaluations.
  • Resolve pricing, product, and quality issues to facilitate swift claim resolutions for the region.
  • Support the Seed Manager in generating seed quotes, applying discounts in the system, and producing rebooking reports.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot tables) is essential; familiarity with SAP processes is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals and situations.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Understanding of exchange rates is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex information to effectively address challenges.
  • Capable of making timely decisions that advance organizational goals.
  • Ability to foresee future opportunities and translate them into innovative strategies.
  • Builds trust and confidence through integrity and authenticity.
  • Effectively manages conflict situations with minimal disruption.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated or standing for the entirety of the workday.
  • Ability to utilize hands and fingers for a significant portion of the day.
