National Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned National Business Development Executive to drive business growth across national accounts and identify new opportunities nationwide. This high-level strategic role demands a professional with extensive experience in business development, particularly within the engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead growth initiatives to increase revenue by securing large-scale contracts with national clients, focusing on structural, infrastructure, and safety engineering services.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value national accounts, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs and challenges of these clients.
  • Expand market opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends to uncover new business opportunities across various regions and sectors.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients nationwide through networking, industry events, and strategic outreach efforts.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with our national growth objectives.
  • Oversee in-depth market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
  • Ensure client success by serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Represent LJB at key national industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars, staying current with industry developments and trends.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, particularly within the engineering sector, and excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on driving business growth and identifying new opportunities nationwide.

LJB offers a competitive salary of $104,000/year, as well as quarterly incentive bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
