PC Construction is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to drive new business growth in the seacoast Maine and New Hampshire region. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities, build relationships with strategic prospects, and support the company's Strategic Plan and Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Business Development Efforts: Develop leads, position the company for project pursuits, and lead pre-proposal efforts to drive business growth.
  • Pursuit Opportunity Management: Identify, understand, qualify, track, and prioritize pursuit opportunities, assemble pursuit teams, and drive the pursuit process through to interview preparation and execution.
  • Regional Leadership Collaboration: Ensure regional leadership team involvement in key opportunities and stay informed about significant developments.
  • Owner Relationships and Market Knowledge: Establish and maintain owner relationships, develop technical and business knowledge, and present a compelling value proposition to prospects and customers.
  • Market Expansion and Relationship Building: Establish and expand relationships within markets to stay current on trends and maximize early communication of project opportunities.
  • Project Pipeline Management: Maintain contacts and project pipeline in the project management system.
  • Business Planning and Sales Targets: Support the development of the annual Business Plan and be accountable for meeting or exceeding established sales targets.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent PC Construction as a brand ambassador and support marketing, public relations, and social media efforts to further PC's presence in the industry.
  • Industry Representation: Represent PC Construction at trade shows, conferences, and client-focused events to develop relationships and maximize exposure.
