About the Role

The Executive Director of Business Growth is a dynamic role responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive new business in all of PC's markets in the seacoast region.

This person will work closely with construction leaders to identify opportunities and build relationships with strategic prospects in support of the company's Strategic Plan and associated Business Plan.

This role works closely with the collaborative business development and marketing teams and can be based in the region with travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Leads and Position the Company: The individual will possess a keen understanding of each customer's unique needs, develop key project partnerships where appropriate, and lead the pre-proposal efforts.
  • Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Identify, understand, qualify, track, and prioritize pursuit opportunities, assemble pursuit teams, develop market strategies, and drive the entire pursuit process through to the interview preparation and execution stage.
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain all owner relationships and develop technical and business knowledge to present a compelling value proposition to prospects and customers.
  • Expand Market Presence: Establish and expand relationships within all markets to stay current on trends and maximize early communication of project opportunities to maximize PC's ability to strategically position its RFQ/RFP response.
  • Manage the Project Pipeline: Maintain contacts and project pipeline in the project management system.
  • Support Business Planning: Support the development of the annual Business Plan in association with the company's strategic goals and be accountable for meeting or exceeding established sales targets.
  • Represent the Company: Be a PC brand ambassador and support all marketing, public relations, and social media efforts to further PC's presence in the industry.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent PC at trade shows, conferences, and client-focused events to develop relationships and maximize PC's exposure.

The company manages projects along the eastern seaboard of the United States from its headquarters in Vermont and a network of locations in Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, and North Carolina.
