Risk Management Specialist

Aon is currently looking for a Risk Management Specialist to deliver direct assistance to a client. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement, and the ideal candidate will be located near the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reviews of contracts on both domestic and international levels
  • Maintain a weekly list of pending contracts for the Director of Risk Management
  • Provide daily and weekly updates on ongoing activities
  • Ensure contract reviews are documented and stored in a shared location
  • Participate in negotiations with legal teams and clients regarding insurance terms before contract finalization
  • Facilitate timely agreement on contract terms to ensure proper execution and credit for sales teams, aligning with their sales targets.
Ensure timely submission of renewal listings to the Aon Client Services (ACS) Account Specialist to facilitate the issuance of renewal Certificates of Insurance (COIs) before the renewal date.
  • Respond to all COI requests within a 24-hour timeframe
  • Provide weekly updates on COI-related issues
  • Store client-specific endorsement and COI documents in a shared folder
  • Ensure timely completion, as sales revenue relies on client acceptance of COIs.
Review and update the renewal listing and send it to the ACS Account Specialist, ensuring all renewal COIs are obtained prior to the renewal date.
  • Review and make necessary updates to the renewal listing
  • Submit the updated listing to the ACS Account Specialist
  • Follow up to secure all renewal COIs before the renewal date
Evaluate and procure project-specific insurance policies or add to the Reporter form policy for smaller projects
  • Gather underwriting data and share it with brokers/insurers
  • Request quotes and obtain binding authorization from the client project team
  • Secure binders/policies/COIs
  • Track expiration dates and any necessary extensions on the calendar
Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Risk Management
  • Advanced degree is a plus
  • CRM, ARM, or CPCU designation preferred
Experience
  • At least five years in the risk management sector
  • Experience in a managerial role
  • Training in safety, loss prevention, and claims is advantageous
Skills

  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficient in a Windows environment, with knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and online database systems
