Job Description

Position Overview

The Account Manager role is a key position within Averna's sales team, responsible for developing and maintaining top-tier accounts in the Consumer Electronics and Medical Device industries. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute account plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop custom solutions that meet client needs
  • Coordinate with international teams to support clients' global operations
  • Forecast and report sales performance, ensuring quota accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Optical, Electrical preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, with a focus on Fortune 500 OEM clients
  • Proven track record of success in consultative technology solution selling, with a focus on capital equipment
  • Technical understanding of automation, test, and measurement equipment concepts
  • Excellent business development skills, including qualifying customer fit and driving internal teams to meet customer requirements
  • Solid understanding of engineering design and manufacturing processes
  • Previous experience in an engineering design role highly preferred
  • Permanent work authorization in the USA required
  • Travel up to 20% of the time
