Objective:

This position involves providing expertise for the Inmate Tracking System (ITS) and Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough research to comprehend the scope and business requirements of the Inmate Tracking System (ITS) project.

· Analyze and understand the scope and business requirements for the Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) project.

· Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure the completion of interface development for the ITS project, including creating specifications and interface design documents.

· Engage with project subject matter experts to implement security measures such as multifactor authentication, active directory integration, and single sign-on for the ITS project.

· Support the operational readiness review for the ITS project by completing assigned tasks.

· Assist in training users for the ITS project as needed.

· Execute scheduled project tasks for the IRIS project.

· Validate technical requirements for the IRIS project.

· Document business analysis for the IRIS project interfaces, including Healthlink/EPIC and DataWorks.

· Complete assigned tasks for the IRIS project.

· Collaborate with the TSS network support team to conduct testing for Spartan devices related to the ITS project.

· Provide support to developers and complete testing tasks for the ITS project interfaces.

· Consult with business analysts and the project team to ensure user acceptance testing is effectively conducted.

· Assist with disaster recovery tasks assigned for the ITS project.

· Offer support for both the ITS and IRIS projects as assigned.

· Provide operational support as needed.

· Facilitate knowledge transfer to County resources to ensure ongoing operations and support for the ITS and IRIS projects.

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Minimum of two years of experience as a senior business systems analyst on large-scale projects, alongside managing daily operational requests.

· Experience in the Public, Safety, and Justice domain as a senior business analyst.

· Strong business analysis skills, with a solid understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

· Proven project management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Proficient in data analysis, including understanding indices, fundamentals, and analytical data, with expertise in MSSQL, data extraction, query building, data validation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.

· Experience in data migration.

· Extensive experience in analyzing and gathering requirements for system integration of interfaces and data exchanges.

· Strong technical security knowledge, particularly in compliance with criminal justice information system data.

· Broad technical understanding of operating systems, applications, databases, networking, and security systems.

· Excellent skills in authoring, documenting, and diagramming.

· Ability to mentor junior business analysts effectively.

· Strong relationship-building capabilities.

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Leadership skills to influence and guide business stakeholders.

· Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications:

· A four-year degree in Information Technology or seven years of relevant work experience in business analysis, with at least two years in a senior business systems analyst role.

· Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CBDA, CPRE, BPA, or AAC.
