Role Summary:

The Culinary Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing food preparation and production. This position supports the Executive Chef in various projects and may assume the Chef's responsibilities during their absence.

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food production and ensure quality standards are met

• Maintain adherence to recipes and presentation guidelines to guarantee consistency and safety

• Safely operate kitchen equipment and follow food handling protocols

• Uphold sanitation and nutrition standards within the kitchen

• Supervise kitchen staff in all food production activities

• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Executive Chef or management

• Ensure compliance with safety footwear requirements while on duty

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years in a similar high-volume culinary role

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in banquet services is advantageous

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and local health department standards

• Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office

• Culinary Arts degree is preferred

• Excellent verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• The role involves light physical activity, including prolonged standing and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
