Job Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a pivotal member of the Executive Management Team, contributing significantly to the strategic leadership of the organization. This role is essential in shaping the financial direction and strategic initiatives of the organization, ensuring optimal financial performance.

The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, risk assessment, and asset management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and executing comprehensive financial strategies to enhance the organization’s economic standing.
  • Providing insightful analysis of financial reports and trends to support informed decision-making by the leadership team.
  • Collaborating with various departments to foster financial health through strategic planning and analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations while maintaining efficient operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on nonprofit organizations.
