Job Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a pivotal member of the Executive Management Team, contributing to the strategic leadership of the organization and guiding its direction and strategy. The CFO will spearhead the development and implementation of financial strategies aimed at optimizing the financial performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial policy discussions with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial health.
  • Act as a liaison to the board of directors, providing leadership for various committees and overseeing financial compliance.
  • Deliver timely and precise analysis of budgets and financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to prepare annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Establish best practices for financial management, ensuring strong internal controls and efficient workflows.
  • Oversee all financial reporting and forecasting activities, providing accurate information to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations in all financial activities.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting, treasury, and payroll functions to protect the organization’s assets.
  • Develop and implement effective cash and investment management strategies.
  • Supervise financial audits and enhance internal controls and operational procedures.
  • Oversee property management and asset monitoring to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage risk and data security in collaboration with senior executives.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior executives to facilitate collaboration and business solutions.
  • Ensure the development and retention of high-performing finance staff.

Position Requirements:
