Position Overview

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance department's technological framework. This position is integral to the ongoing success of our financial operations at First Financial Bancorp.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the administration and oversight of financial systems.
- Maintain reporting hierarchies across various dimensions.
- Manage data integration and transformation processes across multiple systems.
- Engage in the design and implementation of financial reporting and planning systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems and processes under guidance.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of procedures.
- Execute queries and develop procedures to support analytical research.
- Participate in database management to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Process month-end data feeds and distribute various reports.
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
- Engage in diverse ad-hoc projects as necessary.
- Prepare specialized reporting and modeling as needed.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, research, and interpret data effectively.
- Capable of managing multiple projects while delivering accurate results under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to improve processes continuously.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Banking & Financial Services.
- Basic experience with Workday.

- Works independently with close supervision and makes decisions within established guidelines.
