Job Title: Chief Executive Officer at Denver Indian Family Resource Center

Salary:
Range: $90,000 to $105,000

Position Overview:
  • The Chief Executive Officer at Denver Indian Family Resource Center (DIFRC) is instrumental in directing operations related to Family Preservation, Reunification, and advocacy under the Indian Child Welfare Act.
  • Accountable for promoting and sustaining DIFRC's mission, vision, and core values through proficient management of administrative, programmatic, financial, and human resources.
  • Act as the public representative of the organization, engaging with the community, potential supporters, and media to elevate DIFRC's initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong leadership capabilities, encourage collaboration, and make informed decisions to propel DIFRC's success.
  • Demonstrate integrity, cultivate trust, and inspire team members and external partners to champion DIFRC's goals.
  • Emphasize cultural sensitivity for Native American communities and ensure its incorporation into all organizational activities.
  • Efficiently manage information in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, aligning with the directives of the Board of Directors.
  • Lead by example in enhancing family resilience and protective factors through quality oversight and the development of a positive organizational climate.
  • Forge partnerships with governmental bodies, funding sources, tribal agencies, and community organizations to reinforce DIFRC's role as a vital community ally.
  • Steer strategic programming and supervise human resources, financial, and administrative operations to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive fundraising and marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with the Board of Directors to fulfill organizational responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work or a related discipline OR a bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of pertinent experience in management, administration, fundraising, and supervision within public or nonprofit sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of Native (AI/AN) cultures and urban community dynamics.
  • Expertise in social work theory, program development, budget planning, and practices of government agencies.
  • Significant fundraising experience with diverse donor sources.
  • Ability to pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license along with vehicle insurance.
  • This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
