Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned and meticulous Chief Information Systems Officer who is eager to contribute to a forward-thinking organization focused on transforming the data landscape and enhancing our clients' operational efficiency.

The Chief Information Systems Officer will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution, maintenance, and safeguarding of the organization's information systems and processes, encompassing computing, communication, and office automation systems.

We seek an individual capable of formulating and executing IT policies that align with management's strategic objectives, overseeing procurement, and preparing budgets for necessary enhancements.

The Chief Information Systems Officer will assess the needs of various departments and implement technological solutions as appropriate, while conducting industry research and advocating for additional resources to adopt new technologies. This role also involves identifying the necessity for technology upgrades and optimizing existing systems whenever feasible.

Additionally, the Chief Information Systems Officer will monitor hardware and software performance to ensure optimal functionality and initiate repairs as necessary. Key responsibilities include recruiting and managing a high-caliber team.

Responsibilities
- Establish the strategic vision for the organization's information systems (IS) and collaborate with company leadership to execute this vision.
- Direct and coordinate professional services such as systems analysis, design, feasibility assessments, and programming of information, communication, and office automation systems.
- Identify and recommend innovative technologies and services that enhance efficiency, processes, and operations; evaluate requests for additional services and upgrades, analyzing costs and benefits for the organization.
- Approve the acquisition of hardware, software, or services necessary to fulfill organizational requirements.
- Monitor and report on the progress of development projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of computerized information systems, communication systems, and office systems, including safeguarding acquired and stored data.
- Facilitate the preparation of project plans and proposals, detailing project objectives, IS requirements, and staffing needs for proposed systems.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements, economic shifts, and organizational needs by directing continuous improvements in IS staff, equipment, and procedures.
- Prepare, implement, and manage the IS budget.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or Computer Science, or equivalent training and experience required.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in a technical role is required, with substantial leadership experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of IS policies and procedures.
- Ability to quickly master technology utilized within the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
