About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead our hospice marketing efforts and provide strategic oversight for our clinical operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to meet budgetary volume projections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct oversight and support to our marketing liaisons statewide
  • Lead training and onboarding of marketing liaisons, including ongoing professional development
  • Conduct marketing assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of our organization's markets, including key referral sources, competitors, governmental agencies, and major payer groups
  • Stay current with industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantage
  • Collaborate and communicate with team and cross-functional partners to meet customer needs
  • Maintain knowledge of and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 years' experience in hospice and/or home health marketing
  • 2 years' experience in marketing leadership roles
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans
  • Ability to lead and inspire others
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
