Job Summary
As a proactive organization, we adhere to health and safety guidelines to protect our members and staff. The Culinary Station Supervisor will report to the Sous Chef and will play a vital role in meal preparation and service within the assigned kitchen area. This position is essential for the daily food service operations catering to our campers and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for culinary arts, experience in a professional kitchen environment, and the ability to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive dining experience for our camp community.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef in the preparation and service of all meals.
- Help maintain an accurate inventory of food and related items in the kitchen.
- Support food stations in preparing high-quality culinary offerings, including setup and breakdown before, during, and after meal service.
- Keep records of all meals served, including portion sizes and leftovers.
- Ensure proper food temperatures using approved thermometers.
- Uphold sanitation standards and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas as per organizational and health department guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Engage with campers and staff in a friendly manner, addressing any dietary needs or requests.
- Promote a positive and inclusive dining atmosphere for the camp community.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- First Aid and CPR Certification required or must be obtained upon employment.
- Ability to pass a background check and physical examination.
- Proof of required immunizations and health examination documentation prior to starting work.
- Valid Food Handlers Certification is mandatory.

Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth and in camp settings is preferred.
- Desire and ability to work with children in outdoor environments.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish/English or Mandarin/English are a plus.
- Knowledge of group feeding operations for large numbers of individuals.
- Ability to prepare meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant food service experience.
