Position Summary

The Culinary Operations Supervisor will oversee the kitchen activities at the designated RoadDog location. This role ensures that food preparation aligns with established operational protocols while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. This position is designated for the second shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide store personnel in line with company policies to enhance store profitability.
  • Facilitate the training, motivation, and development of store staff.
  • Foster a workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork and exceptional customer service.
  • Safeguard store assets, including cash and inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, both inside and out.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with various store operations as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Exhibit a friendly and helpful demeanor while serving customers and preparing their orders.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and effectively communicate this to customers.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system to process orders and manage transactions.
  • Prepare food items meticulously and promptly according to established recipes.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and report any issues to the Manager on Duty.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is kept clean and operational, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Verify that all food products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure that necessary supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cooler.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the shift manager.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in the convenience store or retail sector.
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for management and associate tasks.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using hands for food preparation and handling stock.
  • Effective communication with customers, management, and team members is essential.
