Job Summary:

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) is a leading consulting firm offering comprehensive services in planning, engineering, and program management. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop utility layout drawings and execute utility clearance before construction begins.
  • Perform existing utility investigations by conducting field visits and contacting utility companies for record drawings and documents.
  • Assist the Right of Way Team in delivering projects and interface with subconsultants and clients to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze roadway and bridge design plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities and collaborate with utility companies to communicate conflicts.
  • Provide utility engineering support for in-house roadway and bridge design teams and assist utility companies and clients with proper utility relocations.

Requirements:

  • At least five (5) years of continuous experience in the A/E consulting field immediately prior to this assignment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and AutoCAD/MS Office application interfacing.
  • Minimum High School or GED equivalent with preference for completion of an Associates Degree.
  • Valid drivers license.
