We are in search of a driven and seasoned Civil Engineer to become part of our workforce. The selected candidate will take charge of supervising the design, construction, and maintenance of utility infrastructure initiatives. The ideal applicant will possess a robust background in civil engineering, outstanding problem-solving capabilities, and a dedication to achieving remarkable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the construction of utility infrastructure projects, encompassing water and sewer systems, stormwater management solutions, and roadways.
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to verify that projects adhere to design specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and evaluate engineering designs, calculations, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
  • Perform feasibility studies and cost analyses for prospective projects.
  • Engage in the formulation of project proposals and bids.
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to guarantee effective project coordination and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within the utility infrastructure domain.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes, such as ASCE, AWWA, and ASTM.
  • Willingness to travel for site assessments and project discussions.
