Position Overview for ROW Appraisal Coordinator:
The ROW Appraisal Coordinator supports the Appraisal Manager and the Appraisal Team in various appraisal process activities. This role involves conducting initial assessments of properties submitted for acquisition based on the documentation provided.

The coordinator utilizes eBuilder and other workflow management tools to input data throughout the appraisal process, ensuring timely updates and modifications.

Additionally, the coordinator assists the Appraisal Manager in closely monitoring all deliverables and maintaining communication with stakeholders, other RPD staff, and external appraisers to guarantee the timely completion of appraisals within their designated timelines.

Collaboration with the Appraisal Manager is essential to refine the eBuilder interface concerning the appraisal process, focusing on streamlining data entry, defining terms accurately, and tracking eBuilder enhancement requests.

This role also serves as a liaison, providing support to appraisers and project stakeholders regarding specific valuation concerns related to various projects.

The coordinator is responsible for maintaining the internal workflow database and managing the requests and tracking of all title and purchase order requests.


Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Appraisal Team inbox to ensure prompt responses and distribution of emails within the team.

- Collaborate with the RPD Submittal team to review submission details and coordinate responses from the Appraisal team for preliminary budgeting before engaging appraisers.

- Conduct thorough examinations of all submission documents to ensure consistency prior to appraiser engagement.
- Work alongside the Appraisal Manager to prepare final project assignments before assembling and distributing communications for external appraiser engagement.
- Utilize Microsoft Office skills to create mail-merge documents for appraisal engagement letters and notifications to property owners.
- Coordinate and track the progress of title document requests directed to the Office of the County Attorney.

- Make necessary entries and updates in eBuilder and Quickbase throughout the appraisal lifecycle.

- Ensure consistent and effective application of departmental and team-level processes, policies, and practices.
- Collect, organize, index, and maintain both electronic and physical project documents in accordance with grant documentation requirements and departmental policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on the evolving scope of the role.

Education:
An Associate Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support or a related business function.

Additional Requirements:
All applicants must provide three professional references for consideration, including two from supervisors or individuals within the applicant's chain of command and one from a peer.


Licensure:
A valid driver's license (Texas upon hire) and a clean driving record.

- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating proper grammar and spelling.

- Capacity to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with management, colleagues, the public, industry representatives, and other governmental agencies.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with the ability to generate ad-hoc reports using available databases and spreadsheets.

- High level of confidentiality, judgment, personal responsibility, and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience in a dynamic administrative support role.
- Preference for experience related to real estate valuation, property analysis, or acquisition.
- Familiarity with eBuilder and PeopleSoft.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Full-Time | Regular | 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
May require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on project demands.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience, based on 26 pay periods.

Environmental Exposure:
While performing the duties of this role, the employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions:

Approximately 90% of duties will be performed indoors in a standard office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, air quality, and noise levels.

Approximately 10% of duties will be performed outdoors, exposing the employee to heat, cold, moisture, air pollution, wind, and dust.

Must be willing to work in diverse weather conditions when visiting field locations.
