Key Responsibilities:

1. Remote Technical Support and Field Service:

Provide onsite technical assistance, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment. Travel frequently to client addresses, vendor facilities, and other offsite locations to address service requests and resolve technical issues.

2. Equipment Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose and repair faults in electronic systems, including circuit boards, controllers, and integrated systems. Perform system tests, calibrations, and inspections to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards. Replace or repair defective components, ensuring that all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

3. Installation and Commissioning:

Install new electronic systems and equipment at client sites, ensuring correct setup and integration with existing infrastructure. Conduct system commissioning, including testing and verification to confirm that installations meet operational requirements.

4. Preventive Maintenance and Upgrades:

Perform regular preventive maintenance on client systems to ensure continued reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Recommend and implement system upgrades or modifications to enhance performance and extend equipment lifespan.

5. Client and Vendor Liaison:

Serve as a key point of contact between Voltguard and its clients, providing professional and courteous customer service during all interactions. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to facilitate the timely delivery of replacement parts, equipment, and other resources required for repairs.

6. Technical Training and Knowledge Transfer:

Provide clients with detailed instructions and training on operating and maintaining their electronic systems. Share insights and best practices to enhance client understanding and promote optimal system use.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance visits. Prepare detailed service reports, including diagnostics performed, work, and recommendations for future actions.

8. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and Voltguard's internal guidelines. Stay current with industry advancements and best practices, integrating them into day-to-day operations.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Electronics Specialist with expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems. Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and system integration. Ability to work independently in remote locations with minimal supervision, while managing service schedules and priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with field-based or remote technical service positions. Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.

Additional Information:

The position requires frequent travel to various locations, including client sites, vendor addresses, and other remote locations.
