Description
Knoxville Beverage Company is a leading beverage distributor in the region, renowned for its commitment to premium brands and innovative marketing strategies. Our success is built on a philosophy of offering high-quality products that cater to diverse consumer preferences, while also providing value to our customers.
We are seeking an experienced On Premise Sales Representative to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This role will involve a variety of functions related to the sales and marketing of wine and spirits, including:
- Following established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell Knoxville Beverage products within an assigned geographic area.
- Providing exceptional customer service and extensive product knowledge to on-premise customers.
- Staying organized to complete duties, including product placement, pre-selling, and product planning.
- Effectively communicating with customers regarding vintage/price changes and product availability.
- Working with customers and staff to enhance knowledge of Knoxville Beverage products.
- Attending promotions, hosting tastings, and participating in supplier market visits.
- Comprehending and operating under state and local laws, rules, and regulations that pertain to alcohol sales.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Restaurant experience is a plus.
- Some college education is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with the ability to meet company driving history requirements.
- The ability to obtain a State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Representative permit.
- Pass a drug and background check.
