The Vice President of Capture will spearhead Govini's Contracts and Capture teams, driving both strategic and tactical initiatives that significantly contribute to our growth in the government sector. This executive will oversee contracting and acquisition strategies, manage a diverse portfolio of prime contract vehicles, and direct capture strategies and proposal management efforts, collaborating cross-functionally to secure new business opportunities. As a pivotal figure in government contracts, you will lead the creation and execution of major proposals and contracts, working closely with stakeholders across Govini's business verticals and functional teams, including sales, finance, product development, engineering, program management, and executive leadership. Your role will require exceptional project management and content creation skills, adeptly navigating the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing organization while managing competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement capture strategies for strategic contract vehicles and awards to enhance Govini's go-to-market efforts and achieve growth objectives. Establish and maintain competitive pricing strategies across all of Govini's products and business lines for various government contracts. Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure lucrative contracts and cultivate strategic partnerships that expand Govini's market presence. Mentor and develop team members to ensure a comprehensive understanding of capture management, proposal generation, and provide constructive feedback while identifying growth opportunities. Formulate and execute strategic and tactical plans for pursuing and successfully capturing key opportunities. Create strategies to influence customer requirements and acquisition approaches. Manage and draft responses to government inquiries, including white papers, product information, quotes, and proposals. Collaborate with technical teams on Govini's product, data, and engineering initiatives to accurately convey the company's technological capabilities to potential clients. In partnership with key internal stakeholders across programs, product, engineering, and marketing, execute Govini's capture, contracting, and outreach strategies through proposals, white papers, and other market-influencing documents.
