Job Overview

Compensation: The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Recruitment Specialist will be tasked with:

  • Creating and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and address hiring needs.
  • Assessing candidate qualifications in partnership with hiring managers through interviews and evaluations.
  • Working alongside the Human Resources team to draft and disseminate job postings.
  • Engaging with job boards, social networks, educational institutions, and career fairs to source quality candidates.
  • Utilizing diverse sourcing channels to maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Reviewing resumes and CVs to ensure candidates meet the necessary qualifications.
  • Coordinating and participating in candidate interviews.
  • Keeping precise and updated records of candidates in the applicant tracking system.
  • Analyzing industry trends and proposing strategies to enhance employee retention.
  • Supporting new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Assisting with various Human Resources functions, including job description maintenance and compliance reporting.
  • Staying informed about current recruiting laws and regulations.
  • Enhancing the efficiency of the talent acquisition processes.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment and Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with job boards and HR-specific software.
  • Experience in environmental consulting or related fields is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Knowledge of recruitment avenues such as college job fairs is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting software.
