About the Role

North Star Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Associate to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our sourcing volume and providing a seamless recruiting experience for our candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a peer contributor in Minneapolis with National Director of Recruiting, providing support and guidance to the recruitment team.
  • Schedule qualified candidate phone screens with recruiters, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Prepare interview collateral for upcoming interviews, including resume review and candidate scheduling.
  • Generate offer letters for recruits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate advisor onboarding, orientation, and North Star academy training, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive career fair strategy, driving engagement and recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain and coordinate lists of COI's and College/University Leadership, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the recruitment team and contributing to the overall success of North Star Resource Group.
Requirements
  • Experience in the profession at some level, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Strong leadership and advocacy skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Success in a four-year degree program or equivalent work experience, with a strong academic record and a proven track record of achievement.
  • A history of demonstrated achievement and getting results, with a strong ability to drive business outcomes and meet performance targets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a successful financial advisor, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Knowledge of how to run an effective practice, with a strong ability to manage and grow a business.
  • Has completed exams to be an advisor, with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
