A day in the life:
This temporary hybrid role involves supporting the recruitment process at CVRx. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will engage in comprehensive recruiting efforts, provide administrative assistance to the HR team, and contribute to various hiring initiatives while upholding our employer brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Leverage diverse channels (job boards, social media, etc.) to identify and attract high-caliber talent in the medical device sector. Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Scheduling & Interviewing: Conduct preliminary phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Organize and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to ensure a seamless process.
- Job Posting & Advertising: Develop and publish job descriptions on relevant platforms using provided templates and tools, while monitoring their effectiveness to enhance visibility.
- Collaboration: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively across departments.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and current candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Reporting & Analysis: Assist in tracking and reporting key recruitment metrics, providing regular updates to the HR team and management on recruitment progress and challenges.
What we expect from you:
- 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting within the medical device industry.
- Demonstrated ability to source and recruit top talent using various methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations as they vary by state.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
What we would like to see:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Previous experience in medical device sales.
- Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.
