Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports To: Supervising Agent and Board of Directors
Employment Status: Part-Time; Non-Exempt
Location: Not specified
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
Objective: To deliver essential clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with telephone inquiries and route calls as needed.
- Maintain an organized filing system for correspondence and records.
- Produce copies of documents and other printed materials.
- Process payments for memberships and manage related tasks.
- Generate and distribute new member identification cards.
- Facilitate insurance verifications and manage documentation for agents.
- Sort and distribute incoming correspondence including mail and faxes.
- Act as a liaison for the organization in dealings with various stakeholders.
- Prepare outgoing communications, including emails and faxes.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience or training. Proficiency in computer systems and standard office equipment is essential.

Employees may be required to sit, stand, and perform various physical tasks. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
