Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist walk-in and telephone customers with sourcing and shipping parts, inventory management, and warranty administration.
  • Address customer product and service inquiries by researching products using various resources.
  • Organize stock on shelves or racks in the sales area and maintain merchandise order.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques and upsell to current and prospective customers.
  • Conduct outgoing customer sales or service calls and address customer complaints.
  • Manage showroom merchandising and restock products as necessary.
  • Serve as a backup driver or warehouse personnel when required.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Monday to Friday

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20/hr. base (up to $22/hr. including bonuses) - may be higher based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • One or more years of HVAC experience
  • Preferred knowledge of HVAC/R equipment, supplies, products, and the distribution industry, though training is available for the right candidate.
  • Proficient with computer systems or capable of quickly learning new systems.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • A team player who is adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk, lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs., and knowledge of material handling equipment for safely moving heavier products.
