Position Summary: We are in search of a strategic and sales-oriented General Manager / CEO who will serve as a vital partner and advisor to the global leadership team. This role is pivotal in steering the company's growth trajectory in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the North American subsidiary, collaborating closely with international executive teams.
  • Formulate and implement mid- to long-term market strategies, objectives, and priorities.
  • Drive sales initiatives and strategically target key markets and clients, leveraging existing industry connections.
  • Assess and enhance the current sales structure; refine processes and organizational frameworks as necessary.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with both existing and potential clients and partners.
  • Act as a catalyst for business improvements, spearheading new initiatives and refining policies.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the U.S. subsidiary, managing its P&L effectively.
  • Inspire and lead the team through guidance and motivation.
  • Engage in local and global industry events, including trade fairs and conferences.
  • Represent the organization in significant external business engagements with major clients and partners.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive leadership experience in sales, business development, and account management, with a preference for candidates with general management experience.
  • Proven track record in selling high-value equipment to the mining and construction sectors in North America.
  • Strong familiarity with the market landscape and existing client base, particularly within mining companies and related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage dealer networks, along with experience in developing incentive programs for dealer organizations.
  • An established network of industry contacts is advantageous.
  • Experience in transforming strategies and processes to achieve business objectives.
  • Successful history in business development, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural environments, particularly with European-owned companies, is a plus.
