Position Overview

Qualifications Required
  • Minimum of one year of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in clerical duties within a court-related setting
  • Experience with cash handling responsibilities
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine data entry tasks across various databases
  • Maintain and organize records and files; sort and prepare documents for scanning
  • Prepare copies for distribution to internal and external agencies
  • Manage records, releases, and maintain court exhibits and confidential items
  • Complete various reports and process orders from the Court
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients, governmental agencies, and the public
  • Issue marriage licenses and passports; respond to inquiries and perform research on case files
  • Process payments and manage funds on hold
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based work; requires extended periods of sitting and performing clerical tasks
  • Some travel may be necessary within the county
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed
