Position Overview:
Kennedy Jenks is looking for a skilled Project Management Analyst in the Seattle region. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, construction supervisors, and various internal and external stakeholders to create, manage, and maintain project financial documentation and information. This role will also provide support regarding financial management and the processing of change management documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, process, and route submissions, requests for information (RFI), change requests (from owners, engineers, and contractors), and change orders for Kennedy Jenks projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and provide cost/change data along with supporting documentation for various projects, including daily reports from inspectors and contractors, invoices, and time/material sheets.
  • Prepare cost estimates and analytical reports for diverse Kennedy Jenks projects.
  • Evaluate engineering cost estimates for accuracy and feasibility in relation to project requirements, including quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Assist project teams in developing construction management deliverables, both internal and external.
  • Support Project Control Engineers, Document Control Specialists, Construction Managers, and Resident Engineers as needed.
  • Review contractor's monthly schedules and provide insights.
  • Deliver independent cost estimates for smaller change orders.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the water/wastewater sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, though applicable experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Proficiency in project management software and strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Work Environment:
This position offers the flexibility to work either fully remote or in a hybrid model based out of our Seattle office. While remote work is an option, candidates must reside in the Seattle area to attend necessary weekly meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000, varying based on education, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
