Job Summary

House of Spices Global Foods is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's vision and mission.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation analysis. You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company's vision and mission
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee counseling
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
  • Conduct compensation analysis and develop compensation plans
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Provide HR support to management and employees, including answering HR-related questions and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Masters' degree in human resources or related field
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)/(SHRM-CP) credential
  • Six to Eight years of human resource experience
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
