Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager at MedReview is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all employees, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries, and escalating situations as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of HR systems and databases, particularly Namely and Jazz HR. The ideal candidate will possess excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Brokers and Finance to deliver optimum benefits to employees while exploring cost savings and structures.
  • Schedule and manage open enrollment, ensuring timely enrollments and deadlines.
  • Administer all benefit programs, including Transitchek, Commuter Benefits, FSA, Medical, Dental, 401K, COBRA, FMLA, STD, LTD, Pre-paid Legal, and other ancillary benefits.
  • Manage the commuting benefit program with Health Equity.
  • Prepare quarterly medical buyout reports for submission to Finance.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Compliance and Sr. Director, HR to manage and conduct all compliance issues and matters for the organization.
  • Manage the Kchecks system and submit monthly reports to the Compliance Officer.
  • Work with Finance, IT, and Compliance to assist with audits and provide required materials.
  • Collaborate on recruiting strategies.
  • Assist with the performance review process, ensuring timely and concise reviews, and ensuring communication about raises or not, and documentation in the HRIS system.
  • Work with Directors, Managers, and Department Heads to maintain current and up-to-date job descriptions, ensuring new job descriptions are created and approved for new positions.
  • Track and ensure all trainings are completed and complied with, working with the SVP, Compliance, and Sr. Director, HR.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing staff to inform them of their rights and benefits post-employment.
  • Work with Managers, Directors, and Department Heads on Covid matters and leaves.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director on culture and instilling the mission and values of the organization.
  • Prepare communications around HR matters, such as open enrollment, policy updates, etc.
  • Work with the Sr. Director, HR on special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager.
  • HR credential preferred.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases, particularly Namely and Jazz HR.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law, leaves, and HR best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Five+ years of experience in Human Resources functions.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Teams, and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload and complete work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High-level understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
