Job Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:

Provide strategic oversight and hands-on guidance to our Center of Excellence (COE) and third-party logistics (3PL) operations teams, ensuring meticulous execution of receiving, inventory management, order processing, and shipping.


Performance Enhancement:

Regularly assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for enhancement and deploy strategies aimed at boosting operational efficiency, minimizing costs, and elevating order fulfillment accuracy.


Vendor Relations:

Establish and nurture robust, sustainable partnerships with 3PL providers, working collaboratively to ensure alignment on objectives, expectations, and operational protocols.


Contract Management:
Spearhead contract negotiations with 3PL partners, securing advantageous terms and service-level agreements while maximizing organizational value.

Continuous Improvement:

Design and implement streamlined workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to enhance fulfillment operations, reduce errors, and shorten lead times.


Technology Integration:

Utilize technology solutions, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and order management platforms, to improve visibility, data accuracy, and reporting within the fulfillment process.


Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Work closely with the Supplier Oasis Fulfillment Services (SOFS) team, Merchants, Customer Service, Inventory Management, and external partners to ensure seamless communication, innovative problem-solving, and alignment of goals.


Team Development:

Mentor, coach, and train a high-performing operations team that extends beyond our internal staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.


Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks within the fulfillment process and formulate mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and minimal disruptions.

Compliance Assurance:
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, regulatory standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:
As assigned, adapt to evolving job requirements, acquiring and applying new skills as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management and fulfillment operations, with a focus on 3PL partnerships, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.

Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing 3PL operations to meet or exceed KPIs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process enhancement.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), order management systems (OMS), and returns management systems (RMS), among others.

Proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
Leadership experience, including the ability to mentor and develop a diverse team.
A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
A naturally curious and adaptable mindset, eager to explore new opportunities and methodologies.
Experience in hiring and leading diverse teams.
Preferred professional certifications in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCMP accreditation.
Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and trends.
Experience with international logistics and cross-border operations.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping, and reaching are frequently required.
