About the Role: Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will serve as a catalyst for change, addressing critical challenges such as scaling operations post-acquisition, optimizing factory relocations, and overseeing cross-functional improvement initiatives. The role will leverage the Aviat Operating Model alongside process enhancement and business transformation methodologies, employing Lean practices and principles. Furthermore, this position is tasked with fostering foundational Lean thinking capabilities throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, strategy development, and execution of plans aimed at transforming and enhancing business performance, while managing designated improvement projects.
  • Champion this transformation through executive coaching, mentoring, value stream analysis, Kaizen events, and tools like A3 thinking and root cause analysis.
  • Assess factory relocations, both anticipated and unexpected, and derive lessons learned and best practices from previous acquisitions. Enhance move checklists and establish processes for future relocations.
  • Enhance collaboration with Benchmark to better utilize them as strategic partners by improving KPIs and conducting regular business reviews.
  • Oversee the operational excellence project pipeline and evaluate the outcomes of past and forthcoming continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comprehend the S&OP process and facilitate enhancements to boost forecast accuracy.
  • Review and refine Aviat's operational excellence strategic documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in Lean transformation with a solid understanding of Lean principles and a track record of cultural change and results.
  • Experience in managing teams directly and indirectly to achieve collective objectives.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Continuous Improvement and/or Supply Chain roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional improvements using Lean and change management techniques.
