Responsibilities*Job Summary / Purpose
The Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the data related to the recruitment process, ensuring that site visits, orientation, integration, and contract agreements with new healthcare providers are executed effectively.Essential Key Job Responsibilities
+ Identifies potential candidates for recruitment through various sourcing strategies. Maintains a database of prospective healthcare provider candidates utilizing diverse sourcing methodologies.

Sourcing methods may include, but are not limited to:

Identifying candidates with personal or educational connections to the area. Collaborating with the Medical Staff to pinpoint potential candidates. Engaging sourcing agencies with prior approval from management. Utilizing search firms with prior approval from management. Communicating with journals, newspapers, and other media regarding potential candidates. Exploring clinical rotation programs to familiarize physicians at recruitment events and residency programs. Serving as an ambassador for the organization at recruitment events and residency programs. In collaboration with each physician practice, campus, healthcare clinic, and/or community, and the CHI Health Physician Medical Staff Development Plan, creating a recruitment profile that outlines the specifics of each recruitment engagement. This document serves as the foundation for the overall recruitment process and will be finalized before recruitment begins. Supervising all arrangements necessary for reviewing and/or screening potential candidates to ascertain which meet the requirements for available positions. This includes providing necessary information to each candidate regarding the practice opportunity, community, etc., and obtaining required references and completing necessary employment verification steps. Coordinating all arrangements for a provider site visit to the campus and/or clinic, including developing and coordinating itineraries (travel, meals, accommodations, childcare arrangements, community tours, etc.). Itinerary development will be closely aligned with the physicians' practice group and tailored to the unique interests and needs of each candidate and their family. Collaborating with relevant CHI Health departments for the onboarding, credentialing, orientation, and integration of successful candidates into the campus and/or clinic and the community, including housing, banking, professional employment, and social aspects. Establishing and maintaining a system for measuring the progress of recruitment efforts against overall plans and regularly reporting results to each site within the system, the physician practice group, and the local community involved in the Recruitment Program. Working collaboratively with the Physician Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies and action plans for each search. Establishing a system for ongoing communication with new physicians for at least the first six months of their practice to monitor satisfaction levels and ensure a smooth transition to the Medical Staff Office function. Reviewing all bills and invoices for recruitment expenses for approval by management and submitting them in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications
Minimum QualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration or extensive experience in physician recruitment.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and TrainingRequires exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various organizations and personalities. Must maintain harmonious relationships among all parties involved in the recruitment process. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. A high degree of organization is required. Familiarity with medical group practices is advantageous. Significant initiative is necessary, along with the ability to work with minimal supervision. The role requires continuous verbal communication skills and frequent reading and writing communication skills.
